This is by far one of the soundest composed articles on this theme. I was exploring on the exact aforesaid subject area and your post totally took me off with the way you understand this matter. I congratulate your insight but do grant me to come back to input further as I’m presently widening my research on this subject further. I also think the new 2.6.31 kernel is a huge improvement. I have been using it with Jaunty since about RC9. Sounds like Koala won’t be a dog like Jaunty was.

I think a lot of credit should go to the new linux 2.6.31 kernel …. the snappier performance is definitely a result of the kernel improvements …

The new sound UI is nice and simplified, although it still has some issues to work through.

I like the rich brown. In fact, I’ve had that color for years. I’m okay with warm tones as long as it isn’t the hideous orange. In fact, when I try blue now, I find it ugly! I don’t care too much as long as they let us continue to customize it.

I also love that the Intel graphics card is fast and stable (again?)
